Dr Danilo Di Mascio, Architect and Research Associate on the MyPlace project, working at both Open Lab and Northumbria University. He is focusing on the analysis and visualisation of tangible and intangible features of the urban environment, including the use of digital technologies to understand narratives of space and place.
Dr Rachel Clarke, is Research Associate on MyPlace, focusing on participatory engagement on mobility and place for the age friendly city at Open Lab, Newcastle University. She has chaired and co-organized international workshops within the HCI community focusing on participatory approaches involving arts-practice.
Dr Yoko Akama, Associate Professor, Communication Design, RMIT, Melbourne. Her research interests focus on human-centred design practices of exploring design artefacts, language and processes, and their role as ‘scaffolds’ in facilitating communication and engagement among people.
Dr Flora Salim, Senior Lecturer, Computer Science and Information Technology, RMIT University Melbourne. She has performed and published research in the areas of mobile, pervasive, and urban computing. Her particular interests are context-aware computing, context sensing, activity recognition, and human behaviour pattern mining.
